I have become so used to living in this BIG CITY! And because of this, it's becoming harder and harder to recognize the funny and ridiculous things people do!
Today, as I was walking home from the subway, I passed this woman just as she was realizing that the crosswalk sign was green. Now, it's tiresome and irritating to have to wait for this crosswalk. It takes forever to turn green and it's FREEZING outside so the less time spent waiting for stupid crosswalk lights to turn green, the better!
This lady was about 15 or 20 yards from the street and as we were passing each other, I saw her clutch the 12 thousand possessions she was carrying tightly to herself, tuck her chin down and BOLT to the street... heels, scarfs, 12 thousand packages and all!
She nearly knocked me over. I was right in her way and she was not moving! Her body language was clear... Something along the lines of, "Either GET OUT OF MY WAY, or die!"
I love Korea! And, I love you!
